Государственные студенческие стипендии имени сенатора К. Пелла [Pell, Claiborne]. Предоставляются студентам колледжа, еще не получившим степень бакалавра [bachelor's degree; undergraduate student]. Размер стипендии зависит от доходов и сбережений семьи студента, а также расходов на обучение. Финансовое положение студента определяется при помощи специального индекса [Pell Grant Index (PGI)]. Получение стипендии по этой программе не препятствует получению иных видов государственной помощи [federal aid to education] и гарантировано в том случае, если средства, учитываемые в индексе, не превышают в сумме определенной величины
